Escaped the city for a few days last week to visit my parents on their farm.
Right now my mother is twice as old as I am.
This morning when I walked to work, the sun was shining and it was 20 ° C. Less than 15 minutes later a thunderstorm broke loose… I think it’s over now ’cause I can really feel the falling of air pressure. I guess the summer has finally arrived 🙂
Some new pictures of me.
I got my new computer today!!! Decided to call her Lovelace 🙂
Contrary to all my feelings towards golf, I’ve been reading a lot of the articles about Annika Sörenstams historic participation on the PGA Tour. I hope she’ll do great, but just the fact that she’s playing is enough. It’s always interesting to see what kind of feelings that are brought to the surface when it comes to the issue of women competing with men on the same terms. Why are so many men afraid? I don’t understand it. If they are as superior as they think they are, then what could happen except that being proved?
Went to see The Matrix Reloaded yesterday! Was a bit afraid that I would be disappointed, but I really enjoyed it. I wanna be able to fight like Trinity…
Trying to decide what to name my new computer at work. I’m choosing between Lovelace and Hopper. All computers at work are named after famous computer scientists (like Turing and Shannon) and not a single one is named after a female. So I’ve decided to name mine after one. But who? Ada Lovelace or Grace Hopper? (Ada Lovelace is claimed to be the first computer programmer, she worked with Charles Babbage and his analytical engine. Grace Hopper developed the first compiler.) Hopper is easier to write, but Lovelace is more well known…
Received my first order from colormailer.com today. Really impressed with the result, can’t see the difference from normal photographies. (If you place my e-mail address email@example.com in the Promocode field while placing your order and you will receive 10 Free 10x15cm or 11x15cm Photo Prints with your first order…) Now I’m convinced that my new camera (Olympus C-5050z) was a great investment 🙂
